How we work
The technician surveys the property, garden and outbuildings before quoting, tracing droppings, smear marks and gnawing back to the harbourage and the way in. Treatment fits the property: tamper-resistant bait stations, break-back trapping where there are children, pets or livestock about, or a combination of the two.
Where rats are involved, drainage gets checked as a matter of course. A cracked drain or an unsealed redundant connection is a permanent open door, and baiting around one achieves nothing lasting.
Proofing then closes the job, using stainless steel wool, rodent mesh, metal plate, mortar and rodent-proof brush strip rather than foam or sealant. Air bricks are meshed rather than sealed so the building keeps ventilating. Where a property is repeatedly exposed, which is common on the outer roads, super-proofing the whole building is usually the more economical answer.
