Mice Pest Control works out of Andrews House on Wallingford Road in Uxbridge. Mice are what we do, so when you call about scratching in the kitchen ceiling or droppings behind the cooker, you are speaking to a team that deals with the same problem several times a day in the same postcodes.
What the guarantee means
A guarantee is only worth anything if it is written down and the terms are clear. Ours is: we treat the property, we proof the entry points we find, and if mice return within the guarantee period we come back and deal with them at no further cost. The technician explains the period and what is covered before any work starts, and it is confirmed in writing afterwards.
The reason we can offer it is proofing. A company that only baits has no control over reinfestation, because the way in is still open. We seal the route, so the guarantee is a statement about the work rather than a sales line.
How a treatment runs
- Survey. The technician finds the harbourage and the entry points, using droppings, smear marks and gnawing to follow the runs back rather than guessing.
- Treatment. A plan suited to the property, using tamper-resistant bait stations, break-back trapping or a combination. Trapping is often the right call in homes with small children, pets or a food business on site.
- Proofing. Entry points sealed with stainless steel wool, rodent mesh, metal plate and mortar. Foam and sealant on their own do not stop a mouse.
- Follow-up. A return visit to confirm the activity has stopped and to clear anything left behind.
Uxbridge properties and why mice get in
Uxbridge has a wide mix of housing: 1930s semis around Hillingdon Road and Cowley, Victorian and Edwardian terraces closer to the town centre, post-war estates, and a lot of student and rental accommodation around Brunel and the town. Older properties tend to have suspended timber floors and open cavities, so once a mouse is under the floor it can move around the whole ground level and into a neighbour's house without ever going outside. Flat conversions have their own weakness: service runs for gas, waste and cabling that were opened up during the conversion and never sealed.
Booking
A free survey is available on request, and we can often attend same day or next day within Uxbridge. We are family run and fully insured, our technicians hold the RSPH (BPCA) Level 2 qualification, and we are rated 5.0 out of 5 on Google. If you want proofing across the whole property rather than the active entry points alone, ask about super-proofing.
